Hallingbury Footbridge No 44 is a minor waterways place on the Lee and Stort Navigation (River Stort - Main Line) between Sawbridgeworth Lock No 5 (2 miles and 3 furlongs and 2 locks to the south) and Bishop's Stortford Arm (Last Winding Hole - procede to Causeway Bridge at your own risk (we did!)) (2 miles and 4¼ furlongs and 2 locks to the north).
 
 
The nearest place in the direction of Sawbridgeworth Lock No 5 is Spellbrook Lock Weir Entrance (Channel leading to the Weir - No Access); 2½ furlongs away.
 
The nearest place in the direction of Bishop's Stortford Arm is Matchstick Footbridge No 47; 5¾ furlongs away.
